Devas Praise Śiva; Gaṇeśa Manifests as Vighneśvara and Receives the Primacy of Worship
भवः सुधामृतोपमैर् निरीक्षणैर्निरीक्षणात् तदाह भद्रमस्तु वः सुरेश्वरान् महेश्वरः
bhavaḥ sudhāmṛtopamair nirīkṣaṇairnirīkṣaṇāt tadāha bhadramastu vaḥ sureśvarān maheśvaraḥ
അനന്തരം ഭവൻ (ശിവൻ) അമൃതസുധാസമമായ ദൃഷ്ടിയാൽ അവരെ നോക്കി ദേവേശ്വരന്മാരോട് പറഞ്ഞു—“നിങ്ങൾക്കു മംഗളം ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.” ഇങ്ങനെ മഹേശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു।

It frames Śiva as Pati whose mere darśana (vision) confers bhadra (auspicious well-being); in Linga worship, this translates to seeking His anugraha through seeing and honoring the Liṅga as the visible locus of grace.
Śiva-tattva is shown as compassionate sovereignty: Maheśvara’s “nectar-like” glance signifies anugraha (bestowing grace) that softens pāśa (bondage) and reassures the devas—and by extension all paśus—of His protective lordship.
The implied practice is darśana and bhakti-centered upāsanā: receiving Śiva’s grace through focused viewing (nirīkṣaṇa) of the Liṅga, which in Pāśupata-oriented discipline supports inner purification and steadiness of mind.
