Atharva Veda 9.8.13 — Kanda 9, Anuvaka 1, Sukta 8, Mantra 13

Sukta 8

याः सी॒मानं॑ विरु॒जन्ति॑ मू॒र्धानं॒ प्रत्य॑र्ष॒नीः । अहिं॑सन्तीरनाम॒या निर्द्र॑वन्तु ब॒हिर्बिल॑म्

yā́ḥ sīmā́naṃ virujánti mūrdhā́naṃ prátyarṣaṇī́ḥ | ahíṃsantīr anā́mayā nírdravantu bahírbílam ||

Whatsoever assailing powers break the head’s parting-seam, let them—made harmless, made disease-less—run forth, outward through the exit-hole.

തലയുടെ സീമാൻ (ചീർ/സന്ധി) പിളർത്തി ആക്രമിക്കുന്ന ഏതു ശക്തികളായാലും, അവ എല്ലാം—അഹിംസിതവും നിരാമയവും ആയി—ബിലം (രന്ധ്രം) വഴി പുറത്തേക്ക്, പുറംവശത്തേക്ക് ഓടിപ്പോകട്ടെ.
