स॒मा॒नलो॑को भवति पुन॒र्भुवाप॑रः॒ पतिः॑ । यो॒३जं पञ्चौ॑दनं॒ दक्षि॑णाज्योतिषं॒ ददा॑ति

IAST Transliteration

samāná-lokó bhavati punár-bhū́ḥ apáraḥ pátiḥ | yó yójáṃ pañcáudanam dakṣiṇā́-jyótiṣaṃ dádāti ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The later husband, born anew, becometh sharer of the self-same world—whoso bestoweth a yoke-team, the fivefold rice-oblation, a rite whose splendour is the priestly gift.

Translation

പുനർജനിച്ച ശേഷമുള്ള പിന്നീടുള്ള ഭർത്താവ് അതേ ലോകത്തിന്റെ പങ്കാളിയാകുന്നു—യാർ യುಗലം (ജോഡി-കാളകൾ), പഞ്ചൗദനം (അഞ്ചവിധ അന്നാഹുതി) കൂടാതെ ദക്ഷിണാജ്യോതിഷം (ദക്ഷിണാദാനത്താൽ ദീപ്തമാകുന്ന യജ്ഞവിധി) ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
