पञ्च॑ रु॒क्मा पञ्च॒ नवा॑नि॒ वस्त्रा॒ पञ्चा॑स्मै धे॒नवः॑ काम॒दुघा॑ भवन्ति । यो॒३जं पञ्चौ॑दनं॒ दक्षि॑णाज्योतिषं॒ ददा॑ति

IAST Transliteration

páñca rukmā́ páñca návāni vástrā páñcā́smai dhenávaḥ kāmá-dughā́ bhavanti | yó ’jáṃ pañcáudanaṃ dákṣiṇā-jyotiṣaṃ dádāti

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Five golden ornaments, five new garments, and five milch-cows, wish-yielding, become his—whoso giveth the Goat with the Fivefold Porridge, made radiant with the priestly Fee.

Translation

അഞ്ച് രുക്മ (സ്വർണാഭരണങ്ങൾ), അഞ്ചു പുതിയ വസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ, അഞ്ചു കാമദുഘാ ധേനുക്കൾ അവനുടേതാകുന്നു—ദക്ഷിണാജ്യോതിഷംകൊണ്ട് ദീപ്തമായ ‘പഞ്ചൗദന’ത്തോടുകൂടെ അജ (ആട്) അർപ്പിക്കുന്നവന്.
