सं॒दं॒शानां॑ पल॒दानां॒ परि॑ष्वञ्जल्यस्य च । इ॒दं मान॑स्य॒ पत्न्या॑ न॒द्धानि॒ वि चृ॑तामसि

IAST Transliteration

saṃdaṃśā́nāṃ paladā́nāṃ paríṣvañjalyasya ca | idáṃ mā́nasya pátnyā naddhā́ni ví cṛtāmasi

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

The fastenings of the clamps, the fastenings of the coverings, and of the tight-embracing wrap,—these bindings of Māna’s wife do we cut apart.

സന്ദംശ (ചിമ്മടി/ക്ലാമ്പ്)കളുടെ കെട്ടുകൾ, പലദ (മൂടൽ/ആവരണം)കളുടെ കെട്ടുകൾ, പരിഷ്വഞ്ജല്യ (ഉറച്ചായി ചേർന്നു പൊതിയുന്ന പൊതിവ്)യുടെ കെട്ടുകൾ; മാനം എന്നവന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ ഈ ബന്ധനങ്ങളെ ഞങ്ങൾ മുറിച്ച് വേർപെടുത്തുന്നു.
