प्रजापतिः सलिलादा समुद्रादाप ईरयन्नुदधिमर्दयाति । प्र प्यायतां वृष्णो अश्वस्य रेतोऽर्वाङेतेन स्तनयित्नुनेहि

IAST Transliteration

prajā́patiḥ salilā́dā samudrā́d ā́pa ī́rayan udadhím ardayāti | prá pyāyatāṃ vṛ́ṣṇo áśvasya réto ’rvā́ṅ eténa stanayitnúnehí ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Prajāpati, from flood and ocean, impelling the Waters, stirs the swelling sea. Let the seed of the virile stallion wax full; hither, with this thunder, come thou!

Translation

പ്രജാപതി പ്രളയജലത്തിൽ നിന്നും സമുദ്രത്തിൽ നിന്നും ജലങ്ങളെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ച് ഉന്നതമായി പൊങ്ങുന്ന സമുദ്രത്തെ മഥിക്കുന്നു. വീര്യവാനായ അശ്വത്തിന്റെ രേതസ് പുഷ്ടിയോടെ വർധിക്കട്ടെ; ഈ ഇടിമുഴക്കത്തോടുകൂടെ നീ അർവാഞ്ചനായി ഇവിടെ വരിക.
