आपो॒ यद् व॒स्तेज॒स्तेन॒ तम॑ते॒जसं॑ कृणुत॒ यो॒३स्मान् द्वेष्टि॒ यं व॒यं द्वि॒ष्मः
ā́po yád vaḥ téjas téna tám atéjasaṃ kṛṇuta yó ’smā́n dvéṣṭi yáṃ vayáṃ dvíṣmaḥ
O Waters, what fiery might is yours—therewith make him void of might, who hateth us, whom we in turn do hate.
ഹേ ആപഃ (ജലങ്ങളേ)! നിങ്ങളിലുള്ള അഗ്നിമയ തേജസ്സുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ അവനെ തേജസ്സറ്റവനാക്കുക—ഞങ്ങളെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നവനെ, ഞങ്ങളും ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നവനെ.
