जेमनं लेप आहारो माहेयी सौरभी च गौः युगादीनाञ्च बोढारो युग्यप्रसाङ्ग्यशाटकाः
jemanaṃ lepa āhāro māheyī saurabhī ca gauḥ yugādīnāñca boḍhāro yugyaprasāṅgyaśāṭakāḥ
ജേമനം, ലേപം, ആഹാരം—ഇവ പദങ്ങൾ; അതുപോലെ മാഹേയീ, സൗരഭീ എന്നിവ ഗൗ (പശു)-വിന്റെ പേരുകൾ. നുകം മുതലായവ വഹിക്കുന്നവ ‘ബോധാര’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; കൂടാതെ ‘യുഗ്യ’, ‘പ്രസാങ്ഗ്യ’, ‘ശാടക’ എന്നീ മറ്റു സംജ്ഞകളും ഉണ്ട്.
