Pulastya (contextual)
Tirtha: Kaṭeśvara–Gaṅgeśvara
Type: kshetra
Listener: Manuṣyādhipa (a king/leader figure)
Scene: Gaṅgā, personified as a radiant goddess, worships Śiva; Śiva grants a boon; the narrative then points the pilgrim-king to behold the twin liṅgas—Kaṭeśvara and Gaṅgeśvara—standing as paired sanctities.
Divine grace follows sincere worship, and pilgrimage-darśana is upheld as a dharmic means to receive that grace.
The Kaṭeśvara–Gaṅgeśvara liṅgas (a pair of revered Śaiva shrines) in the Arbuda Khaṇḍa setting.
Darśana/visitation of the liṅga-dvaya (the two liṅgas) is prescribed.
