स वावशान इह पाहि सोमं मरुद्भिरिन्द्र सखिभिः सुतं नः । जातं यत्त्वा परि देवा अभूषन्महे भराय पुरुहूत विश्वे ॥
sá vāvashāná ihá pāhi sómaṃ marúdbhir indra sákhībhiḥ sutáṃ naḥ | jātáṃ yát tvā pári devā́ abhūṣan mahé bhárāya puruhūta víśve ||
In your glad eagerness drink here the Soma, O Indra, with the Maruts your comrades—this pressed delight of ours. Since at your birth all the gods adorned you for the great bearing, O much-invoked, for the universal work.
