Narada (narrating within the Uttara-bhaga mahatmya context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: vira
The verse highlights dāna (sacred gifting) as a dharmic act: offerings of valued, radiant ornaments symbolize honoring the worthy and accruing religious merit within a tīrtha/mahatmya narrative.
While not explicitly teaching bhakti practices, it supports devotional culture indirectly by portraying reverential offering and honoring divine-associated figures (e.g., Śarvāṇī), a common puranic expression of श्रद्धा (faith) that complements bhakti.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Śikṣā) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is ritual-dharma ethics—proper gifting (dāna) and adornment as part of puranic religious conduct.
