Narada (teaching in a vrata/observance context; dialogue frame traditionally with Sanatkumara brothers)
Vrata: Gopāṣṭamī-vrata
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It links a specific Kārttika observance—Gopāṣṭamī—with the cultivation of auspicious outcomes (phala), especially virtuous progeny and well-being, emphasizing vrata as a dharmic means of aligning personal wishes with sacred time.
By recommending a named holy-day observance in Kārttika, the verse implies devotion expressed through disciplined worship and vow-keeping; such bhakti-shaped conduct is presented as a cause for both inner merit and outward harmony in life.
Kalpa (ritual discipline) and traditional calendrical timing are implicit: the verse specifies the month (Kārttika) and the bright fortnight (śukla pakṣa), showing how observances are fixed by sacred calendar conventions.
