Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
विना भर्त्रां च रुद्रेण भविष्यति न संशय: । वंशे तवैव नाम्ना तु ख्यातिं यास्यति चेप्सिताम्
vinā bhartrāṁ ca rudreṇa bhaviṣyati na saṁśayaḥ | vaṁśe tavaiva nāmnā tu khyātiṁ yāsyati cepsitām ||
ວາສຸເທວາກ່າວວ່າ: «ໂດຍບໍ່ມີຜົວ—ແລະໂດຍອໍານາດຂອງຣຸດຣະ (Rudra)—ມັນຈະເກີດຂຶ້ນແນ່ນອນ, ບໍ່ມີຂໍ້ສົງໄສ. ໃນວົງຕະກູນຂອງເຈົ້າ ບຸດນັ້ນຈະໄດ້ຊື່ສຽງຕາມທີ່ເຈົ້າປາດຖະໜາ ແລະຊື່ສຽງນັ້ນຈະຜູກພັນກັບຊື່ຂອງເຈົ້າເອງ».
