अथ यदि द्विमात्रेण मनसि सम्पद्यते सोऽन्तरिक्षं यजुर्भिरुन्नीयते सोमलोकम् । स सोमलोके विभूतिमनुभूय पुनरावर्तते ॥४॥

अथ । यदि । द्वि-मात्रेण । मनसि । सम्पद्यते । सः । अन्तरिक्षम् । यजुःभिः । उन्नीयते । सोम-लोकम् । सः । सोम-लोके । विभूतिम् । अनुभूय । पुनः । आवर्तते ॥४॥

IAST Transliteration

atha yadi dvimātreṇa manasi sampadyate so 'ntarikṣaṃ yajurbhir unnīyate somalokam | sa somaloke vibhūtim anubhūya punar āvartate ||4||

Translation

ನಂತರ ಅವನು ದ್ವಿಮಾತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರನಾದರೆ, ಯಜುರ್ಮಂತ್ರಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಂತರಿಕ್ಷ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಮೂಲಕ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆತ್ತಿ ಸೋಮಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತವೆ. ಸೋಮಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿ ಅವನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಮರಳಿ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ.

Academic Translation

Then, if by the two-mātrā (two measures) he becomes established in mind, he is raised by the Yajus-formulas to the intermediate region, to the world of Soma. Having experienced splendor in the Soma-world, he returns again.
