ततो देव्या तदा दृष्ट्वा रक्षितं नागपार्श्वतः । ततः सुपर्णेलेत्येवं ख्याता सा वसुधातले

Transliteration

tato devyā tadā dṛṣṭvā rakṣitaṃ nāgapārśvataḥ | tataḥ suparṇeletyevaṃ khyātā sā vasudhātale

Translation

ಆಗ ದೇವಿಯು ಅದನ್ನು ನಾಗರ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಕಂಡಳು; ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವಳು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಸುಪರ್ಣೇಲಾ’ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಳಾದಳು।
