सुपर्णेन पुरा देवि पातालादमृतं हृतम् । गृहीत्वा तत्र मुक्तं तु नागानां पश्यतां किल
suparṇena purā devi pātālādamṛtaṃ hṛtam | gṛhītvā tatra muktaṃ tu nāgānāṃ paśyatāṃ kila
ಹೇ ದೇವಿ! ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಪರ್ಣನು ಪಾತಾಳದಿಂದ ಅಮೃತವನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಿದನು; ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ, ನಾಗರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ, ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ।
