Transliteration
etasminneva kāle tu takṣakaḥ pannagottamaḥ | gṛhītvā kuṇḍale tūrṇamagamaddakṣiṇāmukhaḥ
Translation
ಅದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಪಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ತಕ್ಷಕನು ಕುಂಡಲಗಳನ್ನು ಕಸಿದುಕೊಂಡು ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಮುಖವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟನು.
