ततः प्रसादयामास शांडिलीं गरुडध्वजः । तदर्थं विनयोपेतः स्मितं कृत्वा द्विजोत्तमाः

Transliteration

tataḥ prasādayāmāsa śāṃḍilīṃ garuḍadhvajaḥ | tadarthaṃ vinayopetaḥ smitaṃ kṛtvā dvijottamāḥ

Translation

ನಂತರ ಗರುಡಧ್ವಜನಾದ ಭಗವಾನ್ ಶಾಂಡಿಲಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸನ್ನಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದನು; ಆ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿನಯದಿಂದ ಮೃದುಸ್ಮಿತವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ದ್ವಿಜರನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತಾಡಿದನು.
