ಆ ಮಹಾತ್ಮನಿಗೆ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಯೋಗ್ಯ ವರನು ದೊರಕಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಾಯಿತು: ‘ಈ ಕನ್ಯೆಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾದ ಪತಿಯನ್ನು ಕರೆತರು, ಹೇ ದ್ವಿಜಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ—ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿದ್ದರೆ.’
