। अथ सुपर्णाख्यमाहात्म्यं भविष्यंति । ऋषय ऊचुः । यदेतद्भवता प्रोक्तं तेजोवीर्यसमन्वितः । गरुडस्तेन संजज्ञे मुनीनां होमकर्मणा

Transliteration

| atha suparṇākhyamāhātmyaṃ bhaviṣyaṃti | ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | yadetadbhavatā proktaṃ tejovīryasamanvitaḥ | garuḍastena saṃjajñe munīnāṃ homakarmaṇā

Translation

ಈಗ ‘ಸುಪರ್ಣ’ ಎಂಬ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿರಿ. ಋಷಿಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ನೀವು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ತೇಜಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ವೀರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಯುಕ್ತನಾದ ಗರುಡನು ಮುನಿಗಳ ಹೋಮಕರ್ಮದಿಂದ ಜನಿಸಿದನು; ಅದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
