दंडस्तत्राभवद्वास्तौ गृहरोधोऽक्षदेवने । एको दोषाकरश्चंद्रः प्रियदोषाश्च कौशिकाः
daṃḍastatrābhavadvāstau gṛharodho'kṣadevane | eko doṣākaraścaṃdraḥ priyadoṣāśca kauśikāḥ
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ‘ದೋಷ’ಗಳು ಹೆಸರಿಗಷ್ಟೇ—ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡ ಕೇವಲ ವಸ್ತು; ‘ಗೃಹಬಂಧನ’ ಅಕ್ಷಕ್ರೀಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ; ರಾತ್ರಿಕಾರಕ ಚಂದ್ರನೊಬ್ಬನೇ; ರಾತ್ರಿಪ್ರಿಯರು ಗೂಬೆಗಳೇ।
