so'pi rājā varaṃ labdhvā śāpaṃ ca tadanaṃtaram | na jagāma gṛhaṃ bhūyaścakāra sumahattapaḥ

ಆ ರಾಜನು ವರವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಶಾಪವನ್ನೂ ಪಡೆದನು; ಆದರೂ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗದೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹತ್ತಾದ ತಪಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿದನು।
