Transliteration

tasya putraḥ samutpannaḥ sarvalakṣaṇasaṃyutaḥ | tasya nāma pitā cakre saṃprāpte dvādaśe'hani | ambuvīciriti spaṣṭaṃ samāhūya dvijottamān

Translation

ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸರ್ವ ಶುಭಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿಂದ ಯುಕ್ತನಾದ ಪುತ್ರನು ಜನಿಸಿದನು. ದ್ವಾದಶ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ದ್ವಿಜರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ “ಅಂಬುವೀಚಿ” ಎಂದು ನಾಮವಿಟ್ಟನು.
