tataścārādhayāmāsa divānaktamataṃdritaḥ | bali pūjopahāreṇa gītavādyocchrayādibhiḥ

ನಂತರ ಅವನು ಹಗಲು-ರಾತ್ರಿ ಅಲಸದೆ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಬಲಿ, ಪೂಜೋಪಹಾರ, ದಾನ-ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗೀತ, ವಾದ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಭಕ್ತ್ಯಾಚಾರಗಳಿಂದ (ಶಿವನನ್ನು) ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಿದನು।
