Sūta (deduced)
Tirtha: Siddheśvara
Type: temple
Scene: A Siddha (semi-divine yogin) performs intense worship before the liṅga; Śiva appears granting a boon; the boon results in Śiva’s continued presence at the shrine, with the liṅga glowing as ‘Siddheśvara’.
A devotee’s intense worship can ‘anchor’ divine presence, turning a place into a lasting field of grace for others.
Siddheśvara (the Śiva-liṅga) established in the local kṣetra described in this adhyāya.
Worship/ārādhana of Śiva is implied; the verse primarily gives the etymology and sanctifying backstory.
