ṛtutrayaṃ cāpyayanamayane dve tu vatsaram | mānuṣāṇāṃ hi sarveṣāṃ sa eva parikīrtitaḥ
ಮೂರು ಋತುಗಳು ಸೇರಿ ಒಂದು ‘ಅಯನ’; ಎರಡು ಅಯನಗಳು ಸೇರಿ ಒಂದು ‘ವತ್ಸರ’ (ವರ್ಷ). ಇದೇ ಗಣನೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಾನವರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಕಟಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.
