यदा गुरुः प्रसन्नात्मा तस्य विश्वं प्रसीदति । गुरुश्च तोषितो येन संतुष्टाः पितृदेवताः
yadā guruḥ prasannātmā tasya viśvaṃ prasīdati | guruśca toṣito yena saṃtuṣṭāḥ pitṛdevatāḥ
ಗುರುವಿನ ಹೃದಯ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನವಾದಾಗ, ಶಿಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಲೋಕವೂ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಯಾರು ಗುರುವಿಗೆ ತೃಪ್ತಿ ತಂದರೋ, ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದೇವತೆಗಳೂ ಸಂತುಷ್ಟರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.
