इत्युक्ता सा भगवती पुनराह महेश्वरम् । चातुर्मास्ये च संप्राप्ते महाव्रत धरो यदि

ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಭಗವತಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮಹೇಶ್ವರನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು—“ಪವಿತ್ರ ಚಾತುರ್ಮಾಸ್ಯ ಕಾಲವು ಬಂದಾಗ, ಹೇ ಮಹಾವ್ರತಧರಾ, ನೀನು ಯದಿ…”
