sevitāḥ sakalā vṛkṣā ścāturmāsye viśeṣataḥ | tulasī sevitā yena sarvavalyaśca sevitāḥ
Skanda (deduced)
Scene: A devotee gently tending a lush Tulasī plant in a courtyard shrine (vṛndāvana), with surrounding trees and creepers subtly shown as ‘included’ in the merit; monsoon clouds indicate Cāturmāsya.
A single focused devotion—service to Tulasī—symbolically encompasses reverence to the entire sacred natural order.
The emphasis remains on sacred flora (especially Tulasī) as a portable tīrtha within the Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s tīrtha-mahātmya.
Sevā of Tulasī, particularly in Cāturmāsya, is recommended as a comprehensive devotional act.
