इति श्रीस्कांदे महापुराण एकाशीतिसाहस्र्यां संहिता यां षष्ठे नागरखण्डे हाटकेश्वरक्षेत्रमाहात्म्ये शेषशाय्युपाख्याने चातुर्मास्यमाहात्म्ये ब्रह्मनारदसंवाद इष्टवस्तुपरित्यागमहिमवर्णनंनाम षट्त्रिंशदुत्तरद्वि शततमोऽध्यायः
iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitā yāṃ ṣaṣṭhe nāgarakhaṇḍe hāṭakeśvarakṣetramāhātmye śeṣaśāyyupākhyāne cāturmāsyamāhātmye brahmanāradasaṃvāda iṣṭavastuparityāgamahimavarṇanaṃnāma ṣaṭtriṃśaduttaradvi śatatamo'dhyāyaḥ
ಇಂತೆ ಶ್ರೀಸ್ಕಂದ ಮಹಾಪುರಾಣದ ಏಕಾಶೀತಿಸಾಹಸ್ರೀ ಸಂಹಿತೆಯ ಷಷ್ಠ ನಾಗರಖಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ, ಹಾಟಕೇಶ್ವರಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಮಾಹಾತ್ಮ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಶೇಷಶಾಯೀ ಉಪಾಖ್ಯಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಾತುರ್ಮಾಸ್ಯಮಾಹಾತ್ಮ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ-ನಾರದ ಸಂವಾದದ ‘ಇಷ್ಟವಸ್ತುಪರಿತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಹಿಮಾವರ್ಣನ’ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನ 236ನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯವು ಸಮಾಪ್ತಿಯಾಯಿತು.
