ಹೀಗೆ ದೇವತೆಗಳ ಶಾಪದಿಂದ ಈ ಮಹಾತಿಥಿ ‘ದಗ್ಧ’ವಾಯಿತು—ಅಂದರೆ ಕರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅಯೋಗ್ಯವಾಯಿತು।
