ಶ್ರಾದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಕಾಲ ವಿಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ? ಯಾವ ದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳು? ಶ್ರಾದ್ಧಾರ್ಹವಾದವುಗಳೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ಮೇಧ್ಯ (ಶುದ್ಧ) ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳೂ, ಓ ದ್ವಿಜಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ—ಇವುಗಳಿಂದ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಪರಮ ತೃಪ್ತಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಅವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳು।
