प्रष्टव्या च ततो माता तस्याश्चापि च या भवेत् । जननी चापि प्रष्टव्या तस्याश्चापि च या भवेत्
praṣṭavyā ca tato mātā tasyāścāpi ca yā bhavet | jananī cāpi praṣṭavyā tasyāścāpi ca yā bhavet
ನಂತರ ಅವಳ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಬೇಕು, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವಳ ತಾಯಿಯ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು (ಅಜ್ಜಿಯನ್ನು) ಕೂಡ. ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಮಾತೃಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಪೂರ್ವಜ ಮಾತೃಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಮಾತೃವಂಶವನ್ನು ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಬೇಕು।
