FAQs

Spiritual experiences should be tested through wise counsel; dharma grows through humility and inquiry.

The inquiry occurs in the Pitṛkūpikā episode, reinforcing the tīrtha’s role as a catalyst for pitṛ-dharma.

The verse prescribes consultation—asking learned Brahmins to interpret signs before performing or adjusting rites.
