। ऋषय ऊचुः । चमत्कारपुरोत्पत्तिः श्रुता त्वत्तो महामते । तत्क्षेत्रस्य प्रमाणं यत्तदस्माकं प्रकीर्तय । यानि तत्र च पुण्यानि तीर्थान्यायतनानि च । सहितानि प्रभावेण तानि सर्वाणि कीर्तय
| ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | camatkārapurotpattiḥ śrutā tvatto mahāmate | tatkṣetrasya pramāṇaṃ yattadasmākaṃ prakīrtaya | yāni tatra ca puṇyāni tīrthānyāyatanāni ca | sahitāni prabhāveṇa tāni sarvāṇi kīrtaya
ಋಷಿಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದರು— ಓ ಮಹಾಮತೇ, ಚಮತ್ಕಾರಪುರದ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಈಗ ಆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರಿ; ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪುಣ್ಯ ತೀರ್ಥಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಆಲಯಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಪ್ರಭಾವದೊಡನೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ವರ್ಣಿಸಿರಿ.
