अधोवक्त्रेण भोक्तव्यं त्वया वीक्ष्या न मे प्रिया । नो चेद्विडंबनां विप्र संप्राप्स्यसि न संशयः
adhovaktreṇa bhoktavyaṃ tvayā vīkṣyā na me priyā | no cedviḍaṃbanāṃ vipra saṃprāpsyasi na saṃśayaḥ
‘ನೀನು ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಕೆಳಗಿಟ್ಟು ಭೋಜನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಪತ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಬಾರದು. ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ, ಓ ವಿಪ್ರ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವೆ.’
