ततः समभवद्युद्धं गणानां दानवैः सह । परस्परं महारौद्रं मृत्युं कृत्वा निवर्तनम्
tataḥ samabhavadyuddhaṃ gaṇānāṃ dānavaiḥ saha | parasparaṃ mahāraudraṃ mṛtyuṃ kṛtvā nivartanam
ನಂತರ ಗಣಗಳಿಗೂ ದಾನವರಿಗೂ ನಡುವೆ ಯುದ್ಧವು ಉದ್ಭವಿಸಿತು—ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಮಹಾರೌದ್ರ—ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವುದು ಮರಣದ ಬೆಲೆ ಎನ್ನುವಂತೆ।
