ऋषय ऊचुः । कस्माज्जाबालिना शप्तः पूर्वं चित्रांगदो युवा । सा च तत्तनया कस्मात्कुमारी वस्त्रवर्जिता
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | kasmājjābālinā śaptaḥ pūrvaṃ citrāṃgado yuvā | sā ca tattanayā kasmātkumārī vastravarjitā
ಋಷಿಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಯುವ ಚಿತ್ರಾಂಗದನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆ ಜಾಬಾಲಿ ಯಾವ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಶಪಿಸಿದನು? ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಗಳು ಆ ಕುಮಾರಿ ಏಕೆ ವಸ್ತ್ರವರ್ಜಿತಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ?
