Transliteration

ulūka uvāca | mayi jīvati mitre me bhavānmaraṇameti ca | adyaprabhṛti kastarhi hṛdā mama labhiṣyati

Translation

ಉಲೂಕನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ನಾನು, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಿತ್ರನು, ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ನೀನು ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಸೇರುವೆ! ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಜವಾದ ಸಂಗಾತಿ ಯಾರು ಸಿಗುವರು?
