नूनं कामेन भोगैर्वा कृत्यं वध्वा न मे मनाक् । या पुत्रसुखमन्वीक्ष्य परलोकार्थमाश्रिता

Transliteration

nūnaṃ kāmena bhogairvā kṛtyaṃ vadhvā na me manāk | yā putrasukhamanvīkṣya paralokārthamāśritā

Translation

ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಪತ್ನಿಗೆ ಕಾಮವೋ ಭೋಗವೋ ಕುರಿತು ಕಿಂಚಿತ್ತೂ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಪುತ್ರಸুখವನ್ನು ಕಂಡರೂ ಅವಳು ಪರಲೋಕ-ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಾರ್ಥವಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.
