अनुस्वारो विसर्गश्च जिह्वामूलीय एव च । उपध्मानीय इत्येते जरायुजास्तथांडजाः
anusvāro visargaśca jihvāmūlīya eva ca | upadhmānīya ityete jarāyujāstathāṃḍajāḥ
ಅನುಸ್ವಾರ, ವಿಸರ್ಗ, ಜಿಹ್ವಾಮೂಲೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪಧ್ಮಾನೀಯ—ಇವೆಯೇ (ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳು) ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ; ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅವು ಗರ್ಭಜ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂಡಜ ಜೀವಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಹ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತವೆಂದು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
