Transliteration

tāṃ te procustrāhi nastvaṃ bhūtamātā bhaveśvari | maryādāṃ naiva tyakṣyāmo vayaṃ skandavinirmitām

ಅವರು ದೇವಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು—“ಹೇ ಭೂತಮಾತೆ, ಹೇ ಭವೇಶ್ವರಿ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು. ಸ್ಕಂದನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ಮರ್ಯಾದಾ-ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ತ್ಯಜಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.”
