नृत्यंति देवि पद्माक्षि प्रसीदेति पुनःपुनः । ततः प्रसन्ना सा देवी व्रियतां स्वेच्छयाऽह तान्
nṛtyaṃti devi padmākṣi prasīdeti punaḥpunaḥ | tataḥ prasannā sā devī vriyatāṃ svecchayā'ha tān
ಅವರು ಪುನಃಪುನಃ ನೃತ್ಯಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ—“ಹೇ ದೇವಿ, ಪದ್ಮಾಕ್ಷಿ, ಪ್ರಸನ್ನಳಾಗು!” ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿದರು. ಆಗ ದೇವಿ ಸಂತೋಷಗೊಂಡು—“ನಿಮಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ವರವನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
