नन्दभद्र उवाच । नमस्तुभ्यमबालाय बालरूपाय धीमते । को भवांस्तत्त्वतो वेत्तुमिच्छामि त्वां शुचिस्मितम्
nandabhadra uvāca | namastubhyamabālāya bālarūpāya dhīmate | ko bhavāṃstattvato vettumicchāmi tvāṃ śucismitam
ನಂದಭದ್ರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ! ನೀನು ಬಾಲಕನಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೂ ಬಾಲರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವೆ; ನೀನು ಧೀಮಂತನು. ನೀನು ತತ್ತ್ವತಃ ಯಾರು? ಹೇ ಶುಚಿಸ್ಮಿತ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
