मिथ्याप्रसादितो वाक्यमाकर्णयति यः शनैः । चपलश्चापिमायावी शठो मिथ्याविनीतकः
mithyāprasādito vākyamākarṇayati yaḥ śanaiḥ | capalaścāpimāyāvī śaṭho mithyāvinītakaḥ
ಸುಳ್ಳು ಸ್ತುತಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾಗಿ, ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸಹ ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೇಳುವವನು; ಚಪಲ, ಮಾಯಾವಿ, ಶಠ, ವಿನಯದ ನಾಟಕ ಮಾಡುವವನು—ಇವನನ್ನು ಪಂಡಿತರು ಧರ್ಮಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಅಯೋಗ್ಯನೆಂದು ನಿಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ।
