हरिः प्राह महेशानं बिभ्यदावेद्मयहं तव । मातामहं च पितरं प्रयोगं श्रृणु भूधर
hariḥ prāha maheśānaṃ bibhyadāvedmayahaṃ tava | mātāmahaṃ ca pitaraṃ prayogaṃ śrṛṇu bhūdhara
ಹರಿಯು ಮಹೇಶಾನನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು—‘ಭಕ್ತಿಭಯದಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ನಿವೇದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಹೇ ಭೂಧರ, ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳು; ಈ ಕರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಮಾತಾಮಹನಾಗಿಯೂ ಪಿತನಾಗಿಯೂ ನಡೆಯುವೆನು.’
