श्रृण्वन्निमामपि कथां नृपते मनुष्यः सुश्रद्धया भवति पापविमुक्तदेहः । शंभोः प्रसादमभिगम्य यथायुरेवमासीत्प्रसादत इयं मम कूर्मता च
śrṛṇvannimāmapi kathāṃ nṛpate manuṣyaḥ suśraddhayā bhavati pāpavimuktadehaḥ | śaṃbhoḥ prasādamabhigamya yathāyurevamāsītprasādata iyaṃ mama kūrmatā ca
ಹೇ ನೃಪತೇ, ಈ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಕೇಳುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ದೇಹಸಹಿತ ಪಾಪವಿಮುಕ್ತನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಶಂಭುವಿನ ಪ್ರಸಾದವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರೆ ಆಯುಷ್ಯ ಯಥಾವಿಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ಸಾರ್ಥಕವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಆ ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ನನ್ನ ಈ ‘ಕೂರ್ಮತೆ’ಯೂ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು।
