व्यास उवाच । पुराणसंहितां सूत ब्रूते त्रैकालिकीं कथाम् । संदेहो नात्र कर्तव्यो यतस्तद्गोचरोखिलम्
vyāsa uvāca | purāṇasaṃhitāṃ sūta brūte traikālikīṃ kathām | saṃdeho nātra kartavyo yatastadgocarokhilam
ವ್ಯಾಸನು ಹೇಳಿದನು: ಹೇ ಸೂತನೇ! ಪುರಾಣಸಂಹಿತೆ ತ್ರಿಕಾಲವ್ಯಾಪಿಯಾದ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶಯ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅದರ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಬರುತ್ತವೆ.
