ulkāpāte ca bhūkaṃpe digdāhe madhyarātriṣu | saṃdhyayorvṛṣalopāṃte rājñorāhośca sūtake

ಉಲ್ಕಾಪಾತ, ಭೂಕಂಪ, ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಹ (ಅಗ್ನಿಪ್ರಕೋಪ), ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿ, ಎರಡೂ ಸಂಧ್ಯಾಕಾಲಗಳು, ಅಶಾಂತಿ ಶಮನದ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜಮರಣಜನ್ಯ ಅಥವಾ ರಾಹುಜನ್ಯ ಸೂತಕದಲ್ಲಿ—ಇವುಗಳೂ ಅನಧ್ಯಾಯ/ನಿಯಮವಿರಾಮ ಕಾಲಗಳೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
