तान्वीक्ष्य विगतोत्साहानंधकः प्रत्यभाषत । कविं विक्रम्य नयता नंदिना वंचिता वयम्
tānvīkṣya vigatotsāhānaṃdhakaḥ pratyabhāṣata | kaviṃ vikramya nayatā naṃdinā vaṃcitā vayam
ಅವರನ್ನು ಉತ್ಸಾಹವಿಲ್ಲದವರಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿ ಅಂಧಕನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—“ನಂದಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸಿದನು; ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಕವಿ (ಶುಕ್ರ)ಯನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ದನು।”
